Flight Simulator Lives!

I finally finished up my instrument panel and cleaned out some space in my office for the simulator. I got everything cleaned off my old computer and got it reformatted with a clean install of Flight Simulator 2004 and my Flight One add-on airplanes (which now includes their C172).

Long Cross-Country

Yesterday was a great day for a long flight! It was in the mid-forties, which is mild for this time of year in Wisconsin. The sun was shining, the sky was clear (except for some haze), and there was literally NO wind, which made my course computations rather trivial.

Marked checked off one more requirement (3 hours of instrument flying) in my logbook today. I haven’t gotten up in several weeks due to weather and schedule, but today was clear and relatively warm, with a direct crosswind.
